A young girl from Solihull who raised £25,000 for charity after two of her family members were diagnosed with life threatening brain conditions.
Prime Minister David Cameron said:
“Amelia has shown incredible bravery in wanting to give something back to the charities that supported her father and her brother. From selling cakes and lemonade to organising a charity action, Amelia’s initiatives have brought her local community together and raised a fantastic amount of money. So many other families will benefit from Amelia’s work and I am delighted to recognise her as a Point of Light.”
