Kim is also a Trustee of the charity and its regional coordinator for the North West and North Wales, helping to recruit and train volunteers for the charity as well as continuing to educate medical professionals on the importance of memory-making.

In a personal letter to Kim, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said:

“I know you do this with no thought of praise or reward, but allow me to offer my own recognition of how you are supporting bereaved parents through the tragedy of losing a child. The beautiful photos you take will serve as a memory for those loving families, and the parents you help will never forget what you have done for them.”

Kim said:

“After getting over the shock of being nominated, I am honoured and truly humbled to receive the Point of Light award. It is my privilege to have photographed and spent time with these beautiful babies and their incredibly brave families.”
