Noreen Sheridan

Noreen, who has Down’s Syndrome, has led work at the Wimbledon Guild’s HomeFood Cafe since it was established, the charity’s main community hub and focal point for local people, providing healthy and subsidised home-cooked meals and a friendly environment for people to connect with one another.

Wendy Pridmore, Wimbledon Guild Chief Executive, said:

“Everyone is welcome at our HomeFood Café. We meet many socially isolated and lonely people who are looking for a friendly place to have a home-cooked meal. Noreen plays a key part; she has a wonderful sense of humour and our customers love seeing her every week. Her positivity is endless, and we cannot wait to welcome her back once our Café can reopen.”
