What could a free promotional film do for your charity?

ADCAN is looking for charities.

The ADCAN awards became Points of Light in September this year for their incredible initiative to support both small charities and up and coming filmmakers and animators. They are currently looking for even more charities to support:

The ADCAN Awards is a creative platform for good that connects grass roots charities and organisations with young unsigned filmmakers in a mutually beneficial arrangement. Charities get free promotional films that celebrate and spread the word about their causes. Up-and-coming directors and producers get a great piece of commercial work for their reel and those awarded by our judging panel benefit from industry workshops, expertise and attention.

And the wonderful thing about ADCAN is it’s all run on good will alone – from the people who work at ADCAN, to the production houses who run workshops for our winners.

In September we held our 2nd annual awards night and were thrilled to be recognised with our very own accolade from the Prime Minister – a Points of Light Award.

Now we want to offer the Points of Light community a chance to get involved with ADCAN. Last year we worked with four great charities: Superact, Engineers Without Borders, The Rucksack Project and Live Life Give Life. This year we are looking for 3 more charities to inspire our filmmakers. We are particularly interested in those that deal with issues affecting young people.

So how about it? If your charity or organisation fits the bill and would love to get a valuable promotional film, completely free, then get in contact with us by November 30th and tell us about the work you do, email info@adcanawards.com

The daily Points of Light award recognises outstanding individual volunteers - people who are making a change in their community.
