Max Dowedia, representing Nauru, is tackling obesity and chronic health issues on the island by teaching gardening, healthy living and environmentalism.
Max runs a community garden to encourage Nauruans to take up gardening and grow their own produce in a sustainable way. In 2018, he was one of the environmental representatives for Nauru at the Sustainable Blue Economy Conference in Kenya.
